MERIDIAN ALCHEMY LLC ("we," "us," or "Company") operates the Vertical Jump Bible 2.0 mobile app (iOS and Android) and verticaljumpbible2.com website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password for authentication. We also collect your first and last name during signup. You may optionally provide a profile photo, which is uploaded to our storage provider and shown on your profile.

Fitness and Health Data: You voluntarily enter:

• Body measurements and profile details: weight, height, age, gender, body measurements, estimated body fat percentage
• Workout logs: exercises performed, sets, reps, weights lifted, session times, rest durations, fatigue and soreness ratings
• Assessment results: vertical jump heights, strength metrics and ratios, mobility test results, CNS tap-test data
• Goals and training preferences

Jump Videos: The jump-measurement feature records or imports a video and calculates your jump height on your device. Jump videos are not uploaded to our servers. If you choose to save a video, it is saved to your own photo library. The camera is used only for this feature; the app does not record audio or request access to your device location.

Subscription and Purchase Information: Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. The applicable store processes your payment; we do not receive your full card details. We use RevenueCat to validate your purchase and manage your subscription status; RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an app user ID (the same random account ID we use for your account).

Email Signup Data: If you join our marketing email list on verticaljumpbible2.com, we collect your email address to send announcements about app launches and related updates.

Diagnostics: We use Sentry to collect crash reports and app performance data, including error details, app and operating system versions, device information, SDK-generated identifiers, diagnostic logs, and sampled performance traces. Diagnostic reports may include request URLs and account identifiers. Sentry also receives IP addresses and may derive approximate location, such as city and country, from them. We use this information to find and fix bugs and keep the app stable.

Embedded Exercise Videos: Exercise pages may load an embedded YouTube player. Loading and using the player sends information to Google, including your IP address, information about the video and player interactions, and browser or device information. Google may use IP addresses to infer approximate location and may use cookies or similar identifiers. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode, which limits personalization based on embedded video views; it does not prevent all data collection. YouTube may show non-personalized advertisements within videos. Google handles this information under its Privacy Policy and partner-site data practices.

Device Access: We do not connect to Apple HealthKit or request GPS or other device-location permissions. Our app does not integrate a separate advertising SDK; embedded YouTube content has the data practices described above.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for these purposes:

• To provide and personalize the Service: authenticate you, store your training logs, display progress, and deliver training programs
• To process and manage your subscription
• To improve the app: analyze crashes, identify bugs, and enhance features
• To communicate with you: send service updates, account notifications, and (if you've opted in) marketing emails about app launches
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We use the following providers to operate the Service. Embedded YouTube content also sends information to Google under its own policies, as described above:

• Supabase: Cloud database provider (US-based PostgreSQL) that stores your account and fitness data
• RevenueCat: Subscription management provider that validates App Store and Google Play purchases and tracks your subscription status
• Apple and Google: Process subscription payments through the App Store and Google Play, respectively
• YouTube (Google): Embedded exercise-video delivery, player analytics, security, and any advertising within the player, under Google's policies
• Sentry: Crash reporting and performance monitoring
• Resend: Email service provider that sends our welcome email when you create an account and our marketing email list messages (email address and the name used in your welcome email; you control marketing subscription)
• Vercel: Website hosting provider

We may disclose information if legally required (court order, subpoena) or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and fitness logs as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (see Your Rights and Choices). Deleting your account permanently removes your account, your training data, and your profile photo. We may retain limited records only where legally required. Subscription records are also held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access: You can review your fitness data in the app, or email us to request a copy.

Correction: You can update your profile and health information in the app.

Deletion: You can delete your account directly in the app: go to More > Settings > Delete Account, or tap Delete Account at the bottom of the subscription screen if you are not subscribed. This permanently deletes your account and all associated training data, assessments, progress records and profile photo. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it separately in the App Store or Google Play account where you subscribed. You can also request account and data deletion on our website without reinstalling the app. We will process your request within 30 days. You can also delete individual assessment data in the app.

Email Marketing: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email or by contacting us.

Diagnostics: Crash and performance reports are used only to keep the app stable. Contact us if you have questions about this data.

If you reside in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.), these rights apply to you as well. We will respond to requests within applicable legal timeframes.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures: HTTPS encryption for data in transit, secure password hashing, and restricted database access. However, no system is 100% secure. We will notify you of any data breach affecting your personal information as required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe we have collected information about a child should contact us immediately at verticaljumpbible2app@gmail.com.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top and posting the revised policy in the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
